Ingredients

Chicken Mince Burgers

  • 500 g Chicken mince ground chicken
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • cup panko breadcrumbs
  • ½ bunch green onions scallions
  • 4 hamburger buns sesame seed
  • 2 teaspoon light soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Kewpie Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoon tomato sauce ketchup
  • ¼ teaspoon salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Coleslaw

  • 1 baby cos lettuce romaine lettuce
  • 1 Lebanese cucumber
  • ½ Lemon
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Golden roast potatoes and carrots

  • 2 carrots
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt and pepper
  • 400 g potatoes small

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 220 C (425 F) and line a baking tray.

  • Peel carrot and slice into ½ cm rounds. Slice potatoes into ½ cm rounds. Toss with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder and salt. Place on a baking tray and into the oven for 20 mins, turning halfway.

  • Finely slice green onions.
    ½ bunch green onions

  • In a bowl mix chicken mince, soy sauce, panko crumbs, paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper and half the green onions. Form into patties. Cook in a frying pan with oil on medium-high heat for 4 mins each side.

  • Meanwhile, finely slice lettuce and cucumber and place in a bowl with remaining green onions. Drizzle over sesame oil, squeeze over lemon juice, sprinkle salt and sugar and toss.

  • Toast buns in the oven, then add kewpie mayo, tomato sauce, the pattie and slaw to each bun. Serve with golden baked potato and carrots on the side, and extra slaw.
