Put a saucepan or pot of water on to boil for the noodles and boil a cup of water in the kettle.
Peel and grate sweet potato. Peel and chop garlic. Peel, deseed and cube avocado. Add boiling kettle water to frozen peas in a small bowl and set aside.

In a jar or small container mix together honey, beef stock and soy sauce. Put any remaining beef stock into the saucepan and it will add a nice flavour to our noodles.TIP: A jar is useful because you can shake it vigorously and the honey will mix well. ⅓ cup honey, ⅓ cup beef stock, 3 tablespoon soy sauce
Dice beef into bite-size pieces, then toss in cornflour and salt.
500 g steak, 3 tablespoon cornflour, 1 teaspoon salt
Add noodles to boiling water and cook according to packet instructions, then drain.
200 g egg noodles
Heat vegetable oil in a large frying pan until very hot then cook beef for one minute on each side, only turning once. TIP: Be careful as hot oil may spit from the pan. Make sure no one else is around who may also get burnt. 3 tablespoon vegetable oil, 500 g steak
Remove beef to a plate, drain excess oil from the pan, then add garlic, stirring until fragrant. Add grated sweet potato and cook for 3-4 minutes.

Add the sauce, simmer until it thickens, then return the beef to the pan and mix through.
Serve honey garlic beef on top of noodles, top with peas and avocado, drizzle over sesame oil and sprinkle sesame seeds.Serve little ones their elements separately if they prefer - noodles, greens and beef. 1 avocado, 1 tablespoon sesame oil, 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
